Copan Ruinas, Honduras

We delayed our departure from Roatan as long as we could and then finally headed south west to Copan Ruinas to get our archaeological thang on. Very beautiful and intricate Mayan ruins dating back from 400 AD. Copan itself is a charming little town, walking distance from the ruins. Not a lot of English spoken there and, as it was still the low season, not too many tourists other than ourselves.  This gave us the chance to brush up on our Spanish.
